for negotiating uncertain domestic life.
This series examines the awkwardness, uncertainty, and insecurity of inhabiting domestic and civic spaces. Familiar furniture is reimagined as anti-human structures that resist comfort, support, and ease. Through physically uncomfortable and functionally uncertain chairs and objects, the works make bodily negotiation visible, revealing how spatial conditions shape posture, movement, and behaviour.
Rather than offering stability or belonging, these prototypes transform furniture into active structures through which displacement, precarity, and the fragile conditions of inhabiting space are physically experienced.
