artist statement.
Lit’s material-based practice spans sculpture, textile, and participatory installation, examining how care, solitude, and bodily resilience are reshaped under conditions of global mobility and contemporary crisis.
Through international artist in residencies and community-engaged art projects, she develops site-responsive works at the intersection of art and the humanities, grounding conceptual inquiry in material and bodily experience.
Her work reflects on how individuals and communities navigate displacement, uncertainty, and adaptation, revealing the fragile infrastructures that sustain contemporary life.
