‘Little Air Book’ is an artist's book developed from Lit's ongoing project ‘Everyday Resistance’. Inspired by the Cantonese concept of siu hei book (小器簿), a notebook for recording accumulated grievances and unspoken slights, it brings together wearable inventions, performative photographs, and notes that document subtle acts of adaptation in everyday life.
Part archive and part notebook, the book explores how the body learns to adjust without yielding. Each entry traces a quiet recalibration in response to social expectations, domestic labour, and shifting cultural conditions, revealing resilience through gestures that often go unnoticed. Gathering what Lit cannot fully express or easily let go, ‘Little Air Book’ proposes everyday adaptation as a subtle yet persistent form of resistance.
